Pet Portraits

We own a selection of small furry friends, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters.... recently I’ve taken to trying something a little different and painting/sketching portraits of some of them.

The first two are tribute pieces, of our hamster Ori and our mouse Dandelion, who we sadly lost way before their time this year.

Then there’s Boots, our Russian dwarf hamster, who we thought would not be with us after the hand life had dealt him, but he has shown a magic and resilience that has bowled us over. He is a very special warrior.

And then we have Pan, one of our female mice, very cute and this picture hopefully captures that.
